ASU MIX Center Opens in Mesa, AZ

There’s nothing that can be imagined that you can’t do here.”

- ASU President Michael Crow

The ASU Media and Immersive eXperience Center opened to more than 750 students, faculty, and community members for the Fall 2022 Semester. The new building and adjacent Plaza at Mesa City Center are major investments by the City to generate an innovation district with the support of ASU's Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts. The Sydney Poitier New American Film School will call this building home, utilizing highly technical production studios and enhanced immersion spaces to imagine new futures in film production, game design, media arts, and entrepreneurial development.
