Last month, HSS architectural designer Juan Carlos Gutierrez, Associate AIA helped organize a new monthly meet-up for local architects and designers along with Sergio Gándara of Arrington Watkins Architects, with support from Carlos Muerrieta, AIA NOMA NCARB, LEED BD+C of Merge Architectural Group. The group formed after a conversation between Juan Carlos and Sergio, realizing just how many folks were moving to Phoenix from their home state of Sonora, Mexico, and identifying a need for more meaningful connections in the community.
