Arizona is experiencing a powerful time of growth. With renewed investment in the public institutions across our State, Tucson and Pima County are at an inflection point. Relocating the Downtown Library into a new home appears to be both a practical decision and a civic opportunity: to strengthen the public realm, expand access to 21st Century library services, and set a precedent for how large-scale adaptive reuse can solve complex challenges facing our urban centers.
