Following the success of Peoria's Pioneer Park in 2013, Holly Street Studio worked with landscape architects at Environmental Planning Group (EPG) to design a series of park structures that serve as the backdrop to site amenities, community events, and recreational activities at the new Paloma Community Park. Phase 1 of the City of Peoria's latest community park opened to the public in the Fall of 2020.

A recent feedback survey from community members had this to say about the new park: 

"We took our dogs yesterday and had a great time knowing they can play with other dogs in a safe secure park. Also walked the mile around the lake, fields, splash pad and pickleball courts. It is the best thought out park I have ever experienced. Great job Peoria for giving us residence a beautiful place to enjoy all the amenities. I feel good about how our property taxes are being spent."
